Activity Calendar

• Download the Letter S Pack and do a letter sort or another activity.
• Teach your child(ren) that a spider has 8 legs and 2 body parts. Insects have 6 legs and 3 body parts. Practice walking like a spider.
• Supervise as you allow children to cut with a pair of scissors. You can cut out shapes, straight lines, curved lines, pictures out of magazines, etc.
• Make funny sounds (ssss like a snake, creek of the door, sound of the phone, etc)
• Have your child(ren) select a favorite story and read it to them.
• Teach about safety and things you can do in your environment to stay safe.
• Decorate some socks to make silly sock puppet
• Graph skittles. Once the skittles have been sorted, make sure to count them, write the corresponding numeral, talk about which color you have the most of, the least of, and what colors have the same or equal amounts.
