Activity Calendar

• Download the Letter X Pack and select activities that will engage and challenge your child(ren).
• Play I Spy as children move their environment looking for both upper and lower case letter x. Children may have difficulty finding them and you may need to point them out (Exit sign, extra, etc.). You could also provide special glasses or binoculars to help them find the letters with their extra-special or x-ray googles.
• Provide a child friendly definition of extra. Look around their environment to discover things that may be extra. Brainstorm ideas of how to share those extra items with others.
• Talk about reasons why a doctor or dentist may need to take an x-ray. Show images of simple body parts and ask students to identify what the are seeing (hand, teeth, foot, etc.)
