Activity Calendar

• Download the Letter H Pack and do a letter sort or another activity .
• Glue hearts on a letter H.
• Provide various cut out shapes in different colors and sizes. Have the children create a house using the shapes.  Talk about the design of the house by pointing out specific things you appreciate about their work such as I like the heart shaped windows and the blue roof.  Write the child's house number above the door and discuss how an address helps people to locate your house and know where to deliver mail and packages to.  This can be a way to help students learn and memorize their street address.
• Take a sheet of paper, fold it vertically, and label the top of the page with hot dog and hamburger on each side of the fold. Ask your child(ren) how many of them prefer hot dogs and how many prefer hamburgers. Think of others in the environment that you can ask.  Keep a tally as you write down the names of family members or students under each category.  Tally up the totals together and decide which food wins the most number of votes.
