Activity Calendar

• Download the Letter A Pack and do a letter sort or another activity.
• Using the large letter A template have your child glue on any of the following items:  
  Alphabet cereal
  Alphabet pasta
  Small apple die cut
  Ant stickers
  
• Teach your child the poem Alligator Pie. Make an alligator pie book.
• Pretend to be airplanes and go on a trip to Alaska. What would you pack?
• Sing The Ants Go Marching Song.
• Paint a clothespin green and add some wiggly eyes for an alligator. Put a magnet strip on the back and use to clip your child’s work to the fridge. You can also make several alligators to clip to other items in the environment that begin with the /a/ sound.
• Help your child sort things that start with A and things that do not. Play concentration.
• Using the large letter A template, have your child trace the template using eight different colors of crayons or marker to make a rainbow A.
